Relevant topics will be addressed, such as the Cuban program for the development and dissemination of natural and traditional medicine; Tanzania’s experience in complementary medicine; the cultivation and harvesting of medicinal plants in the Greater Antilles; and the pharmaceutical production of natural products.
According to Dr. Johann Perdomo, head of the Department of Natural and Traditional Medicine at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), this event, called the Cuba-Tanzania Scientific Exchange Workshop 2025, is an initiative promoted by the embassy of that African nation in Cuba and the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), the source stated.
It reaffirms the commitment of both countries to the sustainable development of ancestral medical practices, integrated into public health systems, for the benefit of their peoples, the doctor stated.
