Russian government extends temporary ban on gasoline exports

Moscow, Oct 1 (Prensa Latina) A new Russian government resolution extended the temporary ban on motor gasoline exports abroad, with the aim of maintaining the stability of the domestic fuel market, the website Goverment.ru reported.

The new resolution, according to the statement, extends the ban on the sale of gasoline abroad until December 31, 2025, and applies to all exporters, including direct producers.

Another resolution also prohibits the export of diesel fuel, as well as marine fuel and other gas oils, including those purchased on the stock exchange.

The restrictions take effect the day after the official publication of the resolution and will remain in effect until December 31, 2025. However, the ban does not apply to deliveries made by direct producers of these fuels.
