Bolivia and Brazil boost continued collaboration

La Paz, Oct 7 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Bolivia and Brazil prepare the continuity of bilateral joint development projects, following a meeting the day before of the respective presidents, Luis Arce and Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

“In the Republic of Brazil, we held a productive meeting with brother President Lula (…),” the Bolivian dignitary wrote on his social networks.

Arce added that he and his host addressed a broad and strategic work agenda and fully agreed on the importance of guaranteeing it, despite any political juncture, the continuity of the bilateral projects that the parties are implementing.

Arce listed in his X account that these are border, energy, trade, investment, industrialization agreements.

Also the construction of the bridge over Mamore River, between Guayaramerin (Beni department, Bolivia) and Guajara-Mirim (Rondonia state, Brazil), considered a symbol of integration that will strengthen trade and brotherhood between the two peoples.

“Likewise,” wrote the President, “we emphasize and appreciate Brazil’s position on the importance of Bolivia’s participation in the upcoming COP30 Summit in Belem, where our region must arrive with a unique proposal to make the voice of its peoples heard in order to address the climate crisis. We are two brotherly peoples and strategic partners!” concluded Arce.
