Referring to the strategy implemented by the authorities since October last year, the chief executive highlighted during a ceremony in the emblematic Zocalo square of this capital the 32 percent decrease in intentional homicides.
“That is to say, between September 2024 and September 2025, 27 fewer homicides were committed every day”, the dignitary illustrated before more than 400 thousand people who gathered to listen to her report on the first 12 months of the government.
She mentioned among the most significant decreases those of states such as Zacatecas, with a drop of 88 percent, with signifante outcomes in the states of Chiapas, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Guanajuato, Sonora, Puebla, Tabasco, State of Mexico, Baja California and Guerrero.
