According to the report published on its official Telegram channel, 12 of the unmanned aerial vehicle interceptions were carried out in the Samara region; 11 in Saratov; five in Rostov; three in the Crimean peninsula; two in Bryansk, as well as in Lipetsk; and one each in Volgograd, Orenburg, Ryazan, Tver, and Tula.
Earlier today, the governor of Orenburg, Yevgeny Solntsev, reported that a Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at a gas plant in this region in the southwestern Urals.
“Drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted an attack against another industrial facility in the region, causing partial damage to the infrastructure of a gas plant,” Solntsev posted on the social network Telegram.
The governor specified that the attack caused a fire in one of the plant’s halls. All emergency services were mobilized to mitigate the impact. According to the official, “there were no casualties among the personnel” and the fire “does not pose a danger to the population.”
Meanwhile, the national air transport agency, Rosaviatsya, reported temporary flight restrictions at the airports of Samara, Kaluga, Orenburg, Ufa, and Volgograd on the last day, in order to ensure passenger safety.
