US military activities in the southern Caribbean region, including illegal flights near Venezuelan airspace and attacks on civilian vessels, have increased in the last few weeks, the Sri Lankan organization stated.

The FSP warned that these dangerous actions clearly point at preparations for a broader military operation, which violates the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.

It noted that any military attack on Venezuela will threaten peace, security, stability, and sovereignty in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The organization also reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with the Bolivarian Government and the Venezuelan people.
