The meeting scheduled for November 9 will take place 24 hours after the inauguration ceremony of the new president, Rodrigo Paz, and the new members of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP).
“We will convene (…) the inter-institutional dialogue for judicial reform. (…) We do this in order to continue working on the construction of a justice that serves the Bolivian people, a closer justice, but above all to provide structural solutions in terms of four thematic axes”, said Saucedo.
As he described in a press conference, such axes are: Budget of the Judicial Body, Necessary normative reforms, Technological development and modernization of the system, as well as Judicial career, as pillars of professionalization and institutional stability.
The headline stressed that Paz expressed his willingness to participate in this process.
“We took the floor to the president-elect (…), who is committed to strengthening the work that we have been doing as a judicial body (…). We will listen to and expand also on the basis of what the other participants in this first dialogue tell us”, concluded the authority.
