Yevgeny Primakov, head of the Federal Agency for Cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), announced that cosmonauts from Vietnam, Mongolia, and Russia will also attend the event, which begins on October 26.
Current cosmonauts, representatives of the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos, the scientific community, diplomatic circles, and public organizations will also participate in the Forum.
The event will bring together 2,000 Russian participants and approximately 500 from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Primakov noted that in the context of growing geopolitical tension and the increasing politicization of outer space, the search for new formats of interaction between countries involved in outer space exploration becomes particularly relevant.
