Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun called on Washington to return to normal cooperation in law enforcement and judicial matters through bilateral and multilateral legal frameworks.
China recently expressed its opposition to any act that threatens the sovereignty and security of countries, regarding the deployment of US vessels in the Caribbean Sea near Venezuela.
In response to a question from Prensa Latina, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning also rejected “the use or threat of force in international relations.”
The spokesperson underscored, “We oppose external forces interfering in Venezuela’s domestic affairs under any pretext. We hope the United States will do more for the benefit of Latin America and the Caribbean.”
