The funds will be channeled through the organization’s Egyptian and Palestinian branches, which are coordinating the shipment of food, medicine, fuel, and emergency supplies to the devastated territory.
Since the truce, the Egyptian Red Cross has dispatched more than 400 shipments containing 5,700 tons of food, 1,400 tons of medical supplies, and 2,500 tons of petroleum products.
For its part, the Palestinian branch continues medical evacuations, healthcare, and psychological support for thousands of displaced people.
According to the Singapore Red Cross, 94% of hospitals were damaged, 92% of homes collapsed, and more than one million children need mental and educational assistance.
“The road to recovery will be long, but every act of solidarity counts,” the organization’s secretary-general, Benjamin William, urging the public to continue supporting the Gazan people, said.
