The Foreign Ministry added that these aggressive measures by the Israeli occupation forces threaten to undermine international efforts to establish lasting peace and stability in the region.

Islamabad urged the international community to ensure an immediate cessation of ceasefire violations by the Israeli occupation forces.

It also reiterated its support for Pakistan’s principled position in favor of the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state, based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
