The foreign minister announced the arrival this Friday of the vice presidents of El Salvador, Felix Ulloa, and Costa Rica, Mary Munive Angermuller.

She informed that the Foreign Ministry sent out around 90 invitations and 52 international delegations, representing States and international organizations, have so far confirmed their attendance.

Authorities noted that the presidents of Argentina, Javier Milei; Paraguay, Santiago Peña; Uruguay, Yamandu Orsi; Ecuador, Daniel Noboa; and Chile, Gabriel Boric, are expected to attend.

Sosa stated that Paz, who won the October 19 runoff, will be sworn in as president this Saturday morning in this capital in the presence of five heads of State, three vice presidents, seven foreign ministers, and Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Albert Ramdin, among others.

She mentioned that Japan’s Foreign Minister, Takeshi Iwaya, will be among those arriving.
