This day will also allow for reflection on the Oral Health Risk Scale in Patients with Diabetes and Advances in the Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.
Before the congress closes, some specialists will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards 2025, and other prizes related to their research, the president of the organizing committee, Silvia Elena Turcio, said in statements to Prensa Latina Radio.
The 11th Cuban Congress on Diabetes also includes the 4th Cuba-Mexico International Symposium on Obesity and the 2nd Meeting of Foreign Endocrinologists Trained in Cuba.
Our greatest hope is that by the end of the congress, we will have succeeded in improving the training of our professionals in topics related to diabetes and obesity, thereby enhancing the quality of life for patients, Turcio concluded.
