Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, made this remark during the book launch, the result of more than four months of intensive joint work between the “Truth” National Political Publishing House and the Cuban Embassy in Hanoi.
The diplomat noted that the book reflects both the historical trajectory of the close ties forged by President Ho Chi Minh and the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and the current state of the exceptional bilateral relations between the two countries.
Polanco Fuentes underscored that, despite geographical distance and cultural differences, Cuba and Vietnam “have shared a pure friendship, complete trust, and generous solidarity, which is a paradigm for all humanity.”
The ambassador asserted, “We will continue together forever, so that new generations may preserve and enrich this invaluable legacy.”
Vu Trong Lam, Director General and Editor-in-Chief of the publishing house, in turn, praised the traditional solidarity, special friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, which have become an exemplary model in international relations.
Trong Lam explained that the book compiles several documentary sources and valuable images in over 200 large-format pages, “and reflects, richly and vividly, the historical milestones of the special, exemplary, and exceptional relationship of solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.”
