The preventative measure was taken to investigate the causes of a recent air accident.
The ministry specified that the crashed aircraft had recently undergone technical maintenance, which included an overhaul of the fuselage, engine, and propellers between September and October of this year.
After all technical inspections are completed, flights of aircraft that pass them will be resumed, the institution stated in a press release.
It was also emphasized that there are no old aircraft, only those that do not receive proper maintenance.
Aviation experts acknowledge the prudence of the measure.
Türkiye’s C-130 fleet consists of 18 aircraft of different variants. These models, authorities emphasized, are actively used by air forces in more than 70 countries worldwide.
