Russian and Indian foreign ministers to hold talks in Moscow

Moscow, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will hold talks on November 17, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today.

“On Monday, November 17, negotiations will take place between the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Minister of the Republic of India,” said Zajarova at a press conference.

According to the spokesperson, both ministers will address current and upcoming political contacts as well as discuss the most important issues of bilateral relations.

They will also coordinate positions on key international and regional issues.

She said that Jaishankar will visit Russia as head of the Indian delegation to the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), to be held on November 17 and 18.
