Panamanian Foreign Minister Javier Martinez-Acha announced during the event an upcoming official visit to Mexico as part of a new stage in the more than 120-year history of cooperation.
Accompanied by Mexican Ambassador to Panama, Claudia Pavlovich, Martinez-Acha affirmed that the modern facility reaffirms the historical, cultural, and strategic bond that unites the two sister nations.
The diplomat underscored that the consular work is a concrete expretion of closeness between States because it protects citizens, facilitates procedures, promotes mobility, and guarantees dignified service.
He remembered that the relationship between Panama and Mexico has been constant and strong.
Martinez-Acha explained that Mexico has supported Panamanian democratic processes, Panama has backed Mexican integration initiatives, and both countries participate in forums such as the Central American Integration System (SICA) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
