In a press release, Al-Yamahi stressed that the Israeli occupation cannot darken the established fact that the Palestinian people have the full right to establish their independent state.
In this regard, he remembered the various resolutions adopted by the Security Council on the subject.
The official highlighted the efforts of the Arab Parliament to support the legitimate Palestinian rights to full independence and reiterated his call to regional and international legislatures to support this cause.
Al-Yamahi reaffirmed “the Arab Parliament’s permanent and unwavering support for the Palestinian people.”
He also confirmed his commitment to continue efforts to defend the creation of a nation-state.
The regional legislature leader’s statements coincide with increased tension in the occupied territories due to a rise in attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and by the army in Gaza, despite the truce agreement in place since October 10.
