In statements to the press, Amjad Hassan, director of the Red Crescent’s ambulance and emergency services in Nablus, reported that both were hit by bullets. According to data from the NGO Defense for Children Palestine, at least 50 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of this year.
More than 1,000 Palestinians have lost their lives in the territory as a result of attacks by Israeli troops and settlers since the beginning of the current cycle of violence in October 2023, according to official figures.
