The military ministry stated that “vigorous operations by units of the Eastern Troops Group resulted in the capture of the town of Rovnopolie in the Zaporizhzhia region,” the military body announced.

Meanwhile, forces from the Dnieper Group completed the occupation of the village of Malaya Tokmachka, located in the same territory that joined Russia in 2022, the ministry’s statement specified.

The Russian Ministry of Defense put the number of Ukrainian Army casualties in the area of ​​the special military operation at around 1,250 in the last 24 hours.

More than a third of these casualties, 470, resulted from operations by the Central Troops Group, which made advances in the areas of Artyomovka, Rodinskye, Oktyabrskye, Novoaleksandrovka, Kucherov Yar, Belitskoye, and Toretskoye. Grishino, in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as Novopodgorodnoe and Ivanovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine.

The Eastern Group inflicted 235 casualties on the enemy during the last day; the Western Group, 230; the Northern Group, 125; the Dnieper Group, 110; and the Southern Group, 80.

Ukrainian losses of military equipment in the last day include one tank, ten armored vehicles, ten artillery pieces, 56 military vehicles, 14 electronic warfare stations, 11 ammunition, equipment, and fuel depots, as well as 197 drones.
