Panama’s President begins official visit to Costa Rica

Panama City, Nov 21 (Prensa Latina) Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino kicks off on Friday an official visit to Costa Rica to hold talks with his counterpart, Rodrigo Chaves, aimed at strengthening diplomatic, trade, and cooperation relations.

According to the agenda published by the Palacio de las Garzas (Herons’ Palace), the seat of the Executive Branch, the two presidents will hold a private meeting at the Las Musas Hall of the National Theater in San Jose.

Chaves expects to award Mulino the Juan Mora Fernandez National Order.

The report adds that the first ladies of Panama, Maricel Cohen, and Costa Rica, Signe Zeikate, will tour the National Museum.

At midday, both presidents and their work teams will share lunch at the Foreign Ministry.

Mulino will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Javier Martinez-Acha, Commerce and Industries Minister Julio Molto, and Agricultural Development Minister Roberto Linares, among other officials.
