This was the assessment of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), To Lam, upon receiving the President of the South Korean National Assembly, Woo Won Shik, who concludes a three-day official visit to the Indochinese nation.
The top party leader greatly valued the importance of the visit, which he considered would be a great success and would significantly contribute to further promoting cooperation between the parliaments of both countries, as well as creating a legal framework for stable, comprehensive, and sustainable collaboration in all areas.
To Lam also expressed his satisfaction with the excellent results of the talks between the Speaker of Vietnam’s National Assembly, Tran Thanh Man, and his South Korean counterpart, and said he hoped that the legislative bodies of both countries would continue to strengthen their role in promoting economic cooperation.
The Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Hanoi Moi newspaper reported, also suggested that South Korea continue to strengthen the capacity of Vietnamese companies to participate more actively in the global supply chain of South Korean businesses.
