The Kremlin noted that this visit will provide an opportunity to discuss thoroughly the broad agenda of the privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India in the political, economic, trade, scientific, technological, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as review current regional and international issues.

These issues will focus talks with the Indian delegation headed by Modi, and following bilateral negotiations between the two leaders, a joint declaration will be issued, and several agreements will be signed.

The visit’s program also includes a meeting between Putin and Indian President Droupadi Murmu.

Putin’s foreign policy aide, Yuri Ushakov, stated earlier this week that preparations for the visit were in their final stages and the Kremlin was awaiting a signal from New Delhi to announce the long-awaited date.
