The Ministry’s statement, released on the official website pointed out that Russia faced an unprecedented economic pressure but managed to maintain its resilience and ensure continued growth.
The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized, “It has become clear that unilateral coercive measures are causing serious damage to those that initiate them. Anti-Russian restrictions alone will cost the European economy up to 1.6 trillion euros in losses between 2022 and 2025.”
The diplomatic institution added that unilateral coercive measures hinder the formation of a just and multipolar world order and serve as a tool of the collective West’s neocolonial policies, whose objective is to maintain dominance and limit the development of the world’s major countries.
The statement also notes that Russia, along with its responsible partners, intends to continue the fight against illegitimate restrictive measures and other manifestations of neocolonialism to build a just architecture without the dictates of sanctions.
