The session is monitored by videoconference by the leader of the Revolution, Raul Castro, and more than 470 members of parliament in their respective provinces.

The agenda of the meeting includes the evaluation of the achievement of the measures of the Government Program to correct distortions and give a new boost to the economy, as well as the election of new members of the State Council.

The deputies will analyze the bills: General of Science, Technology and Innovation and Exceptional Reduction of the Current Term of Delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of People’s Power.

During the day will also be submitted the goals and targets for the economy of 2026; the bill of the State Budget for next year, among other issues.

Yesterday, President Miguel Diaz-Canel urged deputies to discuss the country’s problems transparently during the regular session.

“We continue to encourage the open, frank and constant debate, from the point of view of revolutionary ethics, to build among all the country that we dream,” said the head of state on social network X.
