This week, Yara Cinema will host two major events: the documentary “Mijain”, followed by “Calle 232” by Rudy Mora, explained the institution’s president, Alexis Triana.
Meanwhile, Charles Chaplin Cinema will screen the feature film “Baracoa” by Luis Ernesto Donas, and “Cinco historias de amor y un boleron desesperado” by director Arturo Santana.
Acapulco theater will screen Fabian Suarez’s co-production, Cherri, and Nora, by Cuban filmmaker Roly Pena.
These films will also be shown at the 23 y 12 cinema, along with the productions Malecon, by Carlos Larrazabal, and the aforementioned films.
“I think it’s a gift we’re giving from ICAIC to the people for the end of the year; no one can deny that people are going to the cinemas to see Cuban films,” stated Triana.
The premieres will also be shown in other theaters across the country: Cinco historias de amor y un boleron desesperado at Camilo Cienfuegos cinema in the central city of Santa Clara, and Nora at Marti and Cespedes cinemas in the eastern province of Holguín.
