Indian workers join protests in solidarity with Venezuela

New Delhi, Jan 7 (Prensa Latina) The Indian working class joined on Wednesday the protests held in this nation in rejection of the US aggression against Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

The workers from hydroelectric power plants to modern manufacturing industries held demonstrations in solidarity with the Venezuelan people, demanding the return of their president.

The expressions of repudiation of US imperialism were organized at the request of the All India Federation of Trade Unions (AIFTU).

The Indian left-wing forces remain mobilized in solidarity with Venezuela and to demand the immediate release of President Maduro and his wife.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) shares, on its X profile, images of the demonstrations taking place across the country since the US aggression against the South American nation.

Its members denounce, in meetings and street protests, Washington’s illegal attack on Venezuela’s sovereignty and independence, while burning effigies of US President Donald Trump.
