Geneva, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday reaffirmed the need to increase the production of Covid-19 vaccines for Africa, where inequality in the access to immunizers persists and the situation has worsened due to the Omicron variant. During his virtual intervention at the event of the Association for Vaccine Manufacturing in Africa, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stressed that as long as inequity persists, the more opportunities the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the cause of the current pandemic, has to spread and mutate in unpredictable ways.
Washington, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) The Government and media of the United States are hiding the reality in Cuba behind a false narrative about the imminent collapse of the system in the country, according to an article published on Antiwar.com on Monday.
