Al-Mughair explained in a statement that southern Gaza is by no means safe because it is subject to continuous airstrikes, completely deprived of food, and faces catastrophic humanitarian and environmental conditions.
He warned that after ordering the evacuation of much of the city of Deir al-Balah, the Israeli Army is reducing humanitarian space and overcrowding hundreds of thousands of people.
The official estimated that the current phase of the war is more dangerous because “the occupation (Israel) seeks to end the existence of the Palestinian population.”
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor (Euro-Med Monitor) recently stated that Israel had overcrowded Palestinians into 55 square kilometers, representing just 15 percent of the Strip.
