This decision follows a request submitted after Bolsonaro suffered a fall on Tuesday while sleeping in his cell at the Federal Police (PF) headquarters.
According to the medical report, the former president suffered a fall from his bed, a mild traumatic brain injury, and contusions to his arms and feet.
The preliminary examination revealed that he was conscious and oriented, but with a superficial injury to his face and foot, in addition to a recent history of surgeries and medication use.
The defense team submitted a request from Dr. Brasil Ramos, who indicated the need for a cranial CT scan, an MRI, and an electroencephalogram.
Ramos emphasized that the tests must be performed in a specialized hospital setting to assess neurological risk and prevent complications.
