Through the social network X (former twitter), the Turkish president urged the citizens of this country to join a rally in support of Palestine in Istanbul this day, to clearly express support for the Palestinians and the rejection of Israel.

Leaders from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya and Palestine have been summoned to this solidarity meeting.

On the other hand, the National Center for Addressing Disinformation rejected press reports of an alleged take-off of two British Typhoon fighters bound for Israel’s coasts from the US base Incirlik, in the southern Turkish state of Adana.

The center stated that the location shown in photos published by the media does not correspond at all with the address of this base and the fighter jets never flew to Israel.
