The decision to translate this book into Arabic arose after knowing its original version in English that seemed very objective to me, and my previous reading was to avoid translating a misrepresentative content that includes false information about Cuba and its Revolution, Hassoun said in statements to Prensa Latina.

She assured that she had some knowledge and backgrounds about Cuban women and admired their social and revolutionary role; in the same way, she considered that this role has been one of the important factors for the triumph of the Revolution.

Regarding the promotion of the book, which first copy she gave to the Cuban Embassy here, the translator said that Takwin publishing house will be in charge of getting the publication to the largest possible number of readers in Syria and abroad

The book contains interviews with Vilma Espin, Asela de los Santos and Yolanda Ferrer.
