Ibero-American leaders attend economic forum in Bolivia

La Paz, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) Ibero-American leaders are attending this Monday the International Seminar New Regional Financial Architecture in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

Challenges for a Better Integration in a World of Changes, organized by the Plurinational School of Public Management (EGPP) will be also addressed in the meeting.

Former presidents Alberto Fernandez of Argentina, Ernesto Samper of Colombia and José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero of Spain will attend the forum as panelists, confirmed the EGPP on its social networks.

Venezuela will be represented by its executive vice-president, Delcy Rodriguez, and Jorge Arreaza, executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP)’, the source added.

According to the program, Marco Enriquez-Ominami, coordinator of the Puebla Group and former presidential candidate of Chile; and Matias Capeluto, also from that leftist group, will be present as moderators.

The special advisor of the Republic of Brazil, Alexandre Pupo, and Alfredo Serrano Mancilla, director of the Latin American Strategic Center for Geopolitics (Celag) will speak in the conclusions of this forum to be held at the Camino Real Hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Prensa Latina was informed that the Venezuelan executive vice-president will lead a panel on the subject of Multilateral Economic Sanctions, while Rodríguez Zapatero will speak on the subject of Articulating a Multipolar World.

Samper, in turn, will address the presentation entitled Challenges of regional integration, 15 years after UNASUR, and Alberto Fernandez will be in charge of The new regional financial architecture.

The purpose of the seminar is to discuss the new challenges of a world in constant movement and to build strategies for the region’s development.
