At a meeting in Moscow, the Russian capital, Patrushev highlighted the deep and historic relations and Russia’s readiness to continue to support Syria in various fields, according to media reports.

Mamlouk, in turn, praised the strength of bilateral relations and considered that the steadfastness of the Syrian people, with Russia’s support, foiled all the plans that the terrorist groups tried to implement with the support of their operators.

He expressed Syria’s full support for the special military operation carried out by Russia in Ukraine, and considered it a correction of history and a defense of the principles of justice and humanity.
