According to the Parliament on its X profile, during the meeting, held in the National Capitol, Acosta shared the Cuban legislative experience, especially in constitutional matters, and after the proclamation of the Constitution on April 10, 2019.
He also explained the characteristics and activity of the 10th Legislature of the Cuban Parliament.
On Thursday, the president of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission of the National People’s Power Assembly, José Luis Toledo, also received a delegation of Spanish jurists.
The 4th International Congress JurisCuba 2024, which opened on Wednesday in Cuba, brings together more than 300 national delegates and 41 foreign participants from Namibia, Spain, Germany, China, Russia, Italy, Mexico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
The event is taking place in Havana’s Convention Center, under the theme “Legal security, a challenge in the contemporary world.”
