Cuban president congratulates Pope Leo XIV

Havana, May 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel congratulated US Robert Prevost, who was elected new Supreme Pontiff and assumed the name of Leo XIV. This was revealed on Thursday by Cardinal Protodeacon Dominique Mamberti.

Diaz-Canel also expressed commitment to collaborate with the Catholic Church to promote dialogue and peace.
