Announced by the presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni, the executive is trying to revoke, through the National Parks Administration, the gratuitous loan that the ATE union has in Lanín National Park for the use of the space La Pastera Museum, where a tribute site to Ernesto “Che” Guevara, is located.
There is no breach by the ATE of the contract signed, which is valid until 2028, the director of the institution, Darío Fuentes said, who pointed out in a conversation with Prensa Latina, that the museum has been operating for 17 years with great success, being the second most visited museum in Neuquén.
Fuentes recalled that in 1997 the ATE initiated the steps to set up a museum in homage to Che, thus fulfilling the dream of the affiliated workers of National Parks.
“After 11 years we managed to open it in 2008, and since that June 20, we maintain a room for memory, community, and cultural reflection, opened 365 days a year. We have been guarding and protecting an architectural and historical heritage for 17 years, which contributes greatly to touristic offers in the city and the province”, its director said.
