According to local sources, a US military convoy consisting of 21 truckloads of fuel tanks and sealed containers arrived at the Kharab Al-Khir base in Hasakeh province in the northeast of the country.
With this column that arrived from the Iraqi Kurdistan region, the number of military trucks entering the northeast of this Arab nation in less than 24 hours rises to 71.
The day before, 30 trucks were confirmed to have entered the International Coalition’s Sarrin base in the area of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani, in Kurdish), east of Aleppo province. The trucks were loaded with sealed boxes, electric generators, artillery parts and fuel tanks.
The convoys are entering the country and heading to their final destination amid intense helicopter and drone flights to secure them.
Similarly, another US convoy of 20 trucks entered the Semalka border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and headed for the Qasrak base in northern Hasakeh.
The US deployment in this Arab nation is under the pretext of fighting the Daesh terrorist group, but it does not have the approval of the Damascus government or the UN.
