“We have no doubt that we are witnessing the eradication of Palestinians through an absolutely massive crisis, the conditions of which have been created by Israel,” MSF president Isabelle Defourny stressed to BFM TV.

According to the doctor, the situation in Gaza is very difficult in general, and particularly for the humanitarian organization’s patients, in an enclave bombed since October 2023 and subjected to a total blockade for more than two months. “We see that in people with burns, the wounds do not heal due to malnutrition,” she explained.

Defourny rejected the fact that 100 percent of the hospitals in the enclave have been attacked by the Israeli army, leading to the destruction of the healthcare system. “It’s no longer possible to live in Gaza; food doesn’t reach there,” she denounced, and lamented the increase in child malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.

Israel plans to conquer Gaza, drawing global condemnation for the massive displacement of Palestinians and the way it increasingly distances the long-sought two-state solution.
