President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Wednesday, that Friday the Economic Cabinet will be here, headed by Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Economy, to present, along with the Ministry of Finance and Energy: the Well-being Hubs, the competition for the first Well-being Hubs.”

During her daily press conference, the dignitary described the increase in foreign direct investment as good news, amid an international context marked by the controversial tariff policy of US President Donald Trump.

“Plan Mexico continues to advance, and there will also be information on Mexico’s economic situation, which is very good,” Sheinbaum asserted, highlighting the increase in exports in the first quarter of the year.

The president reiterated the existence of very positive indicators for the period from January to March and in the month of April. She attributed this to the development model established during the six-year term of former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (2018-2024) and to Plan Mexico.

Sheinbuaum explained thaat the initiative also seeks to incentivize the relocation of companies, create well-paying jobs, promote development centers for well-being, expand access to secondary and higher education, and strengthen scientific and technological development.
