The Ministry’s statement expresses that 709.5 tons of food are ready to be sent to Burkina Faso, and procedures for providing humanitarian aid amounting to up to 20,000 tons of wheat to Niger are also in their final stages.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled that 559 tons of peas and 164 tons of sunflower oil were sent to Zimbabwe free of charge in December 2024, as well as 29,400 tons of diesel to the Central African Republic in January 2025.
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the aforementioned states receive humanitarian aid through the UN World Food Programme, to which Russian contributions are distributed.
