The meeting also discussed a new approach to the forced and voluntary return of foreigners currently in an irregular situation in countries in the region.
In addition, they discussed the creation of return centers that could be located outside the European Union.
Meanwhile, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, who failed to win the Polish presidency from the ruling Civic Coalition, stated that it is necessary to stop considering Ukrainians as fellow citizens of the Poles.
Poland and Germany are the countries hosting the largest number of Ukrainian refugees, including those under temporary protection, according to the ministry.
Around 1.25 million Ukrainian citizens have been granted asylum in Germany, according to the German Interior Ministry, and up to 1.5 million Ukrainian citizens live in Poland.
