During the meeting, which will be held until June 21, the Nicaraguan representation will develop work in the medical, financial, parliamentary, media and cultural fields, among others.

In addition, the agenda includes meetings with Russian authorities, as well as the participation in panels and thematic sessions and the signing of cooperation agreements, among other activities.

The delegation includes the presidential advisor and representative for Russian Affairs, Laureano Ortega; the president of the Central Bank of Nicaragua, Obidio Reyes; the vice-president of the National Assembly (parliament), Arling Alonso; and the general director of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, Óscar Vásquez.

Also present is the media coordinator of the Communication and Citizenship Council, Daniel Edmundo Ortega and the ambassador of Managua in Moscow, Alba Torres.

The main theme of the forum is “Common values as a basis for growth in the multipolar world”.

Organized by the Roscongress Foundation, attached to the office of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and with almost three decades of history, the forum is an important international platform for the business community and a space for debate on key economic issues.
