The spokesman added that the enemy losses in that direction amounted to 460 servicemen, seven armored vehicles and three field artillery guns, including the Polish 155-millimeter Krab self-propelled artillery unit.

Meanwhile, units of the Northern group took more advantageous positions, defeating concentrations of troops and equipment of two mechanized, infantry and airborne assault brigades and two Ukrainian assault regiments near Novaya Sich, Alekseyevka, Pisarevka, Andreyevka, Ryzhevka and Kondratovka in the Sumy region.

In parallel, the units of the Western grouping improved the tactical situation by defeating formations of two mechanized airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade near Kolodeznoye, Peschany, Kupyansk, Kharkov region and Kirovskoye in Donetsk.

The units of the Southern troop grouping improved the tactical situation by defeating the troops and equipment of two mechanized mountain assault and airborne brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a territorial defense brigade in several settlements of Donetsk.
