If violence and drug trafficking are also associated with it, the percentage rises to 51 percent.

When the issues are grouped together, 29 percent are most concerned about economic issues, eight percent about education, three percent about health, and two percent mention corruption.

Public security has been Uruguayans’ top concern since the fourth quarter of 2023, according to the pollster’s historical trend.
