The meeting, known as ABAC III, will take place from July 15 to 18, with some 250 delegates from 21 APEC economies.
Issues such as free trade, digital transformation, sustainable development, and global challenges will be debated during those days by business leaders, economists, trade and investment promotion organizations, and prominent academicians.
Vietnamese President Luong Cuong will address the opening ceremony. The results will be consolidated into an official report to be presented to APEC leaders at the ABAC Dialogue, scheduled for November in South Korea, to influence the region’s economic and trade policies.
Parallel events for trade promotion and cultural exchange, as well as visits to representative economic models, to offer Vietnamese companies the opportunity to connect with international partners, will be part of the ABAC III program.
