Guerrier will stay in Colombian territory from the 28th of July, observing the military training grounds and defining the calendar to implement the preparation of 200 Haitian soldiers.
The highly specialized training will last for three months, after which the Caribbean agents will be ready to be deployed on Haitian soil.
That preparation will continue until a sum of one thousand soldiers is reached, according to the Haiti Libre newspaper, which reported that the first group of troops will travel on August 25.
The cost of training the thousand men is estimated at approximately 2.5 million dollars, and funding will be sought from friendly governments and the international community.
