The study conducted by the consulting firm Zuban Cordoba also found that 56,8% of Argentines reject his government’s policies, representing a growing social discontent with the libertarian administration at a time when the Buenos Aires provincial elections (September 7) and the national elections (October 26) are drawing ever closer.
The survey also reads that 41,9% have a positive opinion of the president, and 42,8% still maintain their support for him.
In another remarkable finding, 53,6% of those surveyed define themselves as anti-Milei, and 28,1% as pro-Milei.
Furthermore, 55,4% believe the head of State represents “a risk to society,” and 37,8% believe he “continues to be the changemaker.”
With an eye on the upcoming elections, both provincial and national, the survey also indicated that 52,8% of respondents intend to “punish the current government’s performance” with their vote, while 38,3% will reward it.
On August 31, the province of Corrientes will hold its legislative elections, in which the chances of Milei’s La Libertad Avanza victory are low, while the elections will take place in the Province of Buenos Aires on September 7.
According to the opinion poll by Zuban Cordoba, half of those who would reject Milei at the polls condemn the “destruction of the State and public policies” and “being a cruel government.”
