China’s ambassador to Cuba, Hua Xin, explained that this special issue entitled “Our America” and dedicated to the China-Cuba shared future community theme was jointly produced by the diplomatic headquarters and the International Policy Research Center.
The diplomat noted that the “Community of Shared Future” aims to build a world that enjoys lasting peace, universal security and common prosperity, “which is open and inclusive, clean and beautiful.”
To achieve this, Hua detailed that the initiative promotes global governance based on the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and mutual benefits.
During his speech, he recalled that last weekend the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2025 and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) were held in Shanghai, attended by the Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Josefina Vidal.
The diplomat commented that this event represented a key action for the implementation of the AI Global Governance Initiative.
“We are convinced that, Cuba will continue to lead the cooperation between China and the region as a pioneer, injecting a more powerful Latin American force to the construction of the community of shared future of humanity,” he concluded.
