The Broad Front’s National Plenary Session approved on Saturday the political program that seeks to defend the Executive, for which it will reissue the “FA te escucha” (FA listens to you) program to reach the grassroots and other sectors of society.
One of the objectives is to explain to the population the state of the economy and the debts inherited from the previous administration, which are hampering the Orsi government’s work.
The people need to know how we are doing in Uruguay, Broad Front President Fernando Pereira said, referring to the tour that the FA leadership will begin across the country on August 25, the day of the Grassroots Committee.
Pereira assessed the unanimous vote on the plan.
The creation of a center for territorial studies was approved as part of the political plan.
Fernando Pereira noted that the Front aims to gain a foothold within the country to “look at each department with the residents and see what they expect from the government.”
